Janet Phillips, LCSW, CEO

Janet Phillips, LCSW, President of Company, EMDR Certified, has years of experience working with a diverse population including children, adolescents, adults and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is current working in an outpatient setting with San Diego County assigned to do Behavioral Health Assessments for Clients with Medicare, and the completion of the Client Plans, and Individual Therapy. Janet received her Masters of Social Work at San Diego State University. She has extensive experience working with children and teens in clinic, school and hospital settings. Pat Martin, LMFT, COO

W Patrick Martin, MA, LMFT, EAS-C, EMDR Certified, Vise President of Company. Mr.Martin is an EMDR International Association professional member and International Employee Assistance Professionals Association member. He has years of experience working with a diverse population including children, adolescents, adults and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He is current working in an outpatient setting with San Diego County and Riverside County assigned to do Behavioral Health Assessments for Clients with many insurance panels and the completion of the Client Plans, and Individual Therapy. Mr. Martin received his Masters of Counseling Psychology at National University and has completed 100s of hours of additional education over the last 18 years following graduation. He has extensive experience working with children and teens in clinic, school and hospital settings. Nicole Ferrari, LMFT, As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, my personal mission is to help clients reach wholeness and fulfill their potential within their relationships. My approach to counseling is to develop a meaningful connection with each client through compassion and understanding. In an accepting, comfortable and safe environment, I offer individualized support and practical feedback to help clients move forward toward renewed mental health, growth and overall wellness. I have seven years experience working with people experiencing depression, anxiety disorders including panic disorder and phobias, grief and loss, relationship problems, low self-esteem, life transitions and stress, trauma, abuse, and emotional dysregulation. I work with adults, adolescents/children, couples and families. I offer court approved co-parenting, parenting and anger management groups. The therapy that I practice is done from a psychodynamic perspective. Within this framework, I practice various techniques to deepen the therapy process including Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

 


Joe Whitcomb MFT

Joseph Whitcomb, MA, LMFT. He graduated from Pepperdine University in 2007 and is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist – LMFT51093. He work best with couples, relationships, PTSD and those who “rage against the dying of the light.” His area of expertise consists in helping with difficulties in relationships & social relationships. Such difficulties include finding and sustaining healthy intimacy, healing from a painful break-up or divorce, school-related problems, recovering from major loss, and growing up in difficult circumstances. He is particularly suited to helping those who have cultivated their intellects and creativity but would now like to develop a greater awareness of their emotional world. He is an attachment-based, emotionally focused therapist. His approach, “I’m far from being the silent, blank therapist. I think my approach provides the richest and most depth and exploration of how we love, work, and play. I consider myself more of a process consultant and co-journeyman.” He has developed brief 12-24 session relationship programs and intensives for couples to breakthrough the upper limit barriers that block them from experiences the love and intimacy both crave.


Vincent Marquez, MSW, LCSW, Education Director is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with adults, families, and children. Vincent specializes in Court Ordered classes and is heading development of new DV, Anger Management and Co-Parenting classes. Vincent builds on the personal strengths of his clients by providing practical tools to enhance their overall mental health and quality of life. Vincent obtained his Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago. He completed clinical training at the University of Illinois, Department of Psychiatry in their College of Medicine: Colbeth Psychiatric Clinic. At the Institute for Juvenile Research, Vincent was trained in several evidence-based practice models for anxiety, depression, and trauma. Vincent has extensive experience working with adults and children impacted by intimate partner and family violence.
